New Sea Ray Sundancer 370:
Outboards Power the New ’Dancer Series
Sea Ray Sundancer 370 Outboard
The 2021 Sundancer 370 Outboard is the first of a new line of Sea Ray day boats with outboard engines. She is powered by triple 300-hp Mercury Verados that pushed our test boat to a top speed of 50.8 mph at 5900 rpm. We found best cruise at 4500 rpm, where the boat ran 38.2 mph and got .9 mpg, giving her a range of 201 statute miles. Her helm has a thoroughly modern execution – yet the operator can sit or stand to drive and have virtually unobstructed visibility with thin mullions and lots of glass going all the way up to integrate with the hardtop. This is not your parents' Sundancer, she’s a whole new game. More...

Nimbus 365 Coupe:
Economical Family Cruiser
Nimbus Yachts designed the 365 Coupe to be a boat that can take extended cruises with the family thanks to sleeping space for at least four and a smart deck plan that takes advantage of the boat’s 11’5” (3.5 m) beam. Her single diesel inboard keeps her economical. Buyers can choose power ranging from 230 to 480 hp. We tested her with a 440-hp Volvo Penta D6. Take a look to see how she performed with that power package. More...

Riviera 645 SUV:
New Express Yacht Can Sleep 8
The 645 SUV came to be as a response to requests from the company’s dealers and customers for a large motoryacht that focuses on single-level entertaining and living, according to Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst. A customer who owned a 575 SUV told Longhurst, “I’m really happy with my 575, but give me a call if you ever do an SUV version of the 64 SMY.” Once he learned the company was moving forward with the 645 SUV, the customer ordered one sight-unseen. The 645 SUV can cruise offshore and has luxuriously appointed indoor and outdoor gathering areas all on one level. More...

Formula 270 Bowrider:
Premium Bowrider w/Quality Throughout
Formula is known for its luxurious strong-performing boats and the 270 Bowrider’s engine compartment reminds us that this company is run by a family that spends time on the water. When we pushed the button to raise the boat’s engine hatch, we saw the Ilmor Marine V-8 installed on racing-style L-angle mounts with through-bolted hardware. The compartment’s interior is finished in gelcoat and cockpit and storage drains lead overboard, not into the bilge. Batteries are properly secured with the terminals covered and all hoses are double clamped. There’s even an access port next to the top of the hydraulic ram that supports the hatch so it can be opened manually in the event of an electrical failure. She’s available with an Ilmor engine for an MSRP of $190,000 or for $184,000 with a standard MerCruiser 300-hp engine with dual props and drive-by-wire DTS. More...

Sailfish 220 CC:
Rugged Center Console w/Cruising Comforts
Sailfish designed the 220 CC primarily for fishing but didn’t forget the cruising families. In addition to her offshore angling pedigree, she includes dual lounges with flip backrests in the bow. The VDS hull is designed to tame rough water, still be efficient and more stable at rest or trolling. More...
