Sharrow Propeller

Sharrow Propeller

Sharrow Marine plans to have a mass-produced cast version of its innovative propeller by the end of this year. BoatTEST.com evaluated the first model from the company, the Model MX-1, and found that it out-performs a standard propeller in virtually every category. The propeller also won an Innovation Award at last February’s Miami International Boat Show in the Propulsion Equipment & Parts category.

More Affordable

The Sharrow Propeller is currently available in a custom-made CNC-machined version in aluminum or stainless-steel. The company says that a new manufacturing partnership will let it produce a more affordable, cast version of the prop. Production will start later this year with delivery in the Spring of 2021. Customers can place a refundable $100 deposit starting today for the mass-produced version at sharrowmarine.com.

During extensive testing we were impressed with the Sharrow propeller in all

“We’ve really listened to consumers and customers and know the custom-made, CNC-machined version is out of reach for many boaters which is why we accelerated our plans for a mass-produced cast version,” said Greg Sharrow, CEO and founder of Sharrow Marine, in a statement. “We’re thrilled we will be able to bring the Sharrow Propeller Model MX-1R to market ahead of schedule — a tribute to the industry’s enthusiasm behind our innovation.”
