Siren Marine Partners w/Hinckley Yachts

With Siren Marine’s connected-boat technology, the classic Hinckley picnic boat has brains to match the beauty.

Siren Marine has partnered with Hinckley Yachts to connect owners with their boats using cloud-based technology. The program will combine vessel monitoring, tracking and security features of Siren’s Connected Boat System. Hinckley launched its OnWatch vessel-monitoring system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology in 2015. OnWatch Powered by Siren Marine will be using the latest generation Siren 3 Pro, network of sensors and Siren Marine Mobile App to deliver a user-friendly experience for Hinckley owners

State of the Art

OnWatch Powered by Siren Marine will be standard equipment on all new Hinckley Yachts including Picnic Boats and outboard-powered sport models. Owners of existing Hinckley Yachts models will also be able to upgrade their vessels with OnWatch Powered by Siren Marine

“Our customer is typically an experienced boater, and rightfully has high expectations when purchasing a Hinckley Yacht,” Scott Bryant, vice president of sales and marketing for Hinckely, said in a statement. “We aim to meet those expectations at every turn, from the distinctive lines of our vessels and advanced construction techniques to our impeccable finish work and joinery. We’re known to utilize the best and most advanced technology — extending to our onboard telematics platform — which is why we’ve chosen to partner with Siren Marine.”

OnWatch Powered by Siren Marine will be standard equipment on all Hinckley models including the new outboard boats.

One benefit of the partnership is that Hinckley Yachts’ team of customer service professionals can work proactively with customers. It provides for better coordination of service and can prevent minor issues from escalating and impacting time spent on the water.

Solid Foundation

Siren Marine CEO Jeffrey Poole highlighted the company’s NMEA 2000 certification and integration with CZone digital switching technology — also found on Hinckley products — as key reasons for Hinckley’s move to Siren. By putting advanced digital switching into the hands of boaters, Siren Marine lets owners remotely control key systems on or off with a mobile device. This saves time at the dock and provides more time for on-water enjoyment.

“When you see a Hinckley, you instantly recognize her for what she is — a blend of extraordinary beauty and cutting-edge technology that truly symbolizes the luxury boating lifestyle,” said Poole. “We are proud to be partnering with such a respected and time-tested brand as Hinckley, and more so, to play a pivotal role in delivering the freedom and trouble-free enjoyment that the lifestyle entails.”

The heart of the system is the Siren Marine Pro 3 that includes a small base station installed in the boat.

Siren Marine has been at the forefront of connected boat technology since 2011 and has formed partnerships with Yamaha Motor Corporation, Cummins, ZF, CZone and other premium brands.
