The WX1910 has been one of Skeeter’s most popular models and the new version has upgrades to improve handling.

Skeeter, a manufacturer of fiberglass fishing boats based in Kilgore, Texas, has redesigned one of its most popular models, the WX1910. The new version of the multispecies boat has upgrades to the bottom and has added standard features that the company says enhance the boat’s value and fish-ability.

“The improvements made to this model are the results of customer feedback, and the results create a smoother ride in rough chop, greater control and more standing room on the bow,” Jeff Stone, senior vice president of Skeeter Boats, said in a statement.

New Enhancements

A new addition to the WX1910’s hull is the REACT keel, which is an accentuated keel that runs aft from the bow. It’s intended to improve control and turning. To enhance fish-ability, engineers moved the bow seat base farther aft from the trolling motor pedal for more standing room on the forward casting deck. The Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor comes with i-Pilot GPS, 80 lbs. of thrust and Lift-Assist design.

The WX1910’s foredeck has been redesigned to provide more space for fishing.

Fishing Features

In the bow, there’s space for up to a 9” flush-mounted fishfinder and a standard Bluetooth-capable Infiniti stereo comes with four speakers. Port and starboard rod tiedowns are new for 2021 and there are recesses in the gunwales to protect rod tips.

The WX1910’s cockpit comes standard with three pedestal seats with two additional sockets for them to plug into in the aft deck. The third seat can be removed to create more space in the cockpit. At the stern, two jump seats fold up on each side of the 25-gallon livewell that has automatic and manual fill and it recirculates. A master power switch shuts down all electrical accessories to prevent draining the battery.

The WX1910’s cockpit can be opened up so two anglers can fish comfortably.

The WX1910 is powered by a 200-hp Yamaha outboard mounted on a 12” manual jack plate. Trim tabs are an available option and the boat rides on a tandem-axle Skeeter Built trailer with brakes, 17” wheels and backup lights.

The trailer is custom built for the WX910, which provides the smoothest ride over the road.
