Sunseeker Launches 100 Yacht Flagship
Sunseeker launched hull No. 1 of the 100 Yacht in the presence of her owner at the British builder’s Poole headquarters, soon after the 94-tonne (103 ton) flybridge motor yacht saw daylight for the first time after leaving the shed.
100 Yacht Ready for Sea Trials
Showing aggressive, muscular lines, the 98-footer (29.87 m) with an almost 23’ (7.01 m) beam was lowered into the water and will undergo sea trials ahead of her delivery into the Mediterranean this summer.
Powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M96X or 16V 2000 M96L engines, the 100 Yacht can reach up to 29 knots and has a range of 1,30 0nm at 12 knots with 10% of her 3,381 gallon (12,800-liter) fuel capacity held in reserve.
Sunseeker CEO, Yacht Owners Watch Christening
Andrea Frabetti, CEO of Sunseeker International, joined the owner to watch the yacht make her debut after being announced in January 2020.
“We are incredibly proud to unveil the 100 Yacht with the owner in attendance. Our project team has worked incredibly hard to present this first build and prepare the vessel for initial sea trials and testing,” Frabetti said.
He continued, “The 100 Yacht has been a remarkable success. The second hull is following and we’re busy building multiple orders for delivery in 2022 and beyond. The order book reflects our brand strength, in-house creativity and the passion of all involved to deliver a spectacular new model. This is the only yacht offering seamless access between flybridge, foredeck and an owners’ private terrace on the sea.”
Walk-Around Access
The flybridge has walkaround access from bow to stern. The foredeck has two separate seating arrangements and cinema-screen capability, while aft of the pilot house are a large L-shaped sofa with dining table, a fully equipped wet bar and space for free-standing furniture or a spa bath.
The main deck has a large aft cockpit and the interior features a salon and dining area. Forward, the full-beam master suite has floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides plus a signature glass-atrium door forward that leads to the private bow terrace. There are four guest cabins and crew quarters on the lower deck.
