Suzuki Interview w/ Gus Blakely — Part 2

One of the design elements that sets apart Suzuki outboards from their competition is what the company calls an offset driveshaft. It lets the designers engineer two gear reductions into an outboard, which translates into many benefits, including a higher gear ratio to get the boat on plane fast and lift the stern.
