Windy 29 Huracán Makes Her Debut

Windy 29 Huracán

Windy 29 Huracán

Norwegian builder Windy Boats launched its new Windy 29 Huracán model at the Dusseldorf boat show this week.  This new v-hull sports cruiser continues the brand's classic Nordic design but takes the combination of sporty performance and interior luxury to the next level. The Huracán interior by Design Unlimited includes a surprisingly spacious galley and overnight space despite the boat’s low overall profile.

The 29.5’ (9-m) boat is powered by the buyer’s choice of Volvo Penta or Yanmar inboard engine, and the company reports a top speed of about 40 knots with either.

We have yet to test this boat, but take a look at the images that Windy has provided--

Note in this CAD image that the helm and the companion seat of the Windy 29 have contoured back rests and high arm rests to keep occupants secure when the boats is cranking and banking.
