Winners of British Magazine’s Awards in 10 Categories
For the last 15 years the respected British magazine Motor Boat & Yachting (MBY) has conducted sea trials and of new boats entering the market in a certain size, type and price range. While we usually stay away from reporting on magazine awards as sometimes issues other than the boat come into play, this year we’ll take the crusty MBY’s judges’ word for it. The finalists in each category were all European brands available in the UK, and no American brands were entered. See their judgments in ten categories.
Motor Boat & Yachting’s editor Hugo Andreae says of this year’s awards, “It has taken months of testing, weeks of analyzing and days of deliberating amongst our judges but the results of our annual Motor Boat Awards can now be revealed. As always we have chosen a winner in each of our ten categories based on how well the boat performed during our rigorous sea trials but also how well it meets the requirements of its target market in relation to its size, style and price.”
