Single-Engine Joystick?

Last year, Yamaha Motors introduced its all-new “Helm Master EX” that – unlike its previous system – was 100% developed and made by Yamaha. The result is the Gen 2 “EX” version that has more features and does not require a joystick, unless one is wanted. At the same time, Yamaha introduced a joystick for single engines without a bow thruster, which it says is remarkably effective. Yamaha Partners With Siren Marine

Yamaha Motor Corporation has formed a strategic alliance with Siren Marine, which makes marine-based IoT products. As part of the agreement, Yamaha has gained a stake in the Newport, R.I.-based telematics organization. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
