Yamaha SeaWing2

The Yamaha SeaWing2 must is lightweight and intuitive to use.

At 7.9 lbs. (3.5 kg), Yamaha’s SeaWing2 is one of the lightest sea scooters available. It has a 4 hp motor and can dive to 100’ (30.48. m). It also features a 2-speed interchangeable gear with hi-lo settings for the dual thruster motor.

Portable Fun

With its compact design, the SeaWing2 and its charging equipment can be carried on an airplane. It also has camera integration built-in that lets a user take video using the camera or his/her choice.

 

The SeaWing2 is available in red or yellow and has a GoPro mount on the front.

For ease of operation, the SeaWing2 is neutrally buoyant. That means it’s easier to dive and maintain a depth in areas like the Bahamas and Hawaii that have a high salt content that make it difficult to stay down without added weights. The contoured hydrodynamic wing design provides the lift needed to maneuver with ease.

New and Improved

The Seawing2 takes the best attributes of the original model and improves on them with a new full OLED screen that shows the current speed and battery level at a glance. The scooter has a maximum speed of 5 mph and 45-minute battery life. Power is provided by a 14.8-volt/10 amp-hour battery that charges in less than 2 hours.

 

The SeaWing2 is rated for a depth of 100’ (30.48 M0 and is neutrally buoyant.

A built in 2-level rotational speed control switch lets users change from low gear (4.3 mph) to high gear (5 mph). Retail price is $995.99.
