Performance

The Axopar 45 XC Cross Cabin is built for speed. With triple 300-hp Mercury Verado V8 outboards, she easily fulfills her obligation to get wherever she is going fast and with nimble handling. Our test boat, with a crew of four and 70% of her 368-gallon fuel capacity, we hit 50.3 mph at 5400 rpm in sea state that saw 2-3 feet.

When we knocked her down to 5400 rpm, we realized a 40.4 mph turn of speed and just under 200 miles of range. She handled exceedingly well under the conditions and held tight turns without any slippage. On straightaways, with the autopilot engaged, it was sit back and enjoy the ride.
