Brief Summary
Part of the first hybrid Series for families developed by Azimut, the yacht embodies the ideal of returning to a more authentic experience of the outdoors. Seadeck 7 is the state-of-the-art of efficiency, thanks to technological solutions aimed at reducing emissions by up to 40% and the Fun Island, a reinvented cockpit that embraces the sea, an unprecedented sea-level outdoor lounge for limitless contact with the water. When the large windows are open, the interiors and exteriors become a single environment, where this new informal interaction breaks down the last physical and social barrier of this symbolic space of wellness.

A surprisingly spacious and versatile stern area introduces the new concept of the Fun Island, an unprecedented open-air lounge au fil de l’eau, designed to experience the large spaces in total freedom and comfort. The entire Main Deck is transformed into a large space that offers the possibility of interacting with everyone, even with those in the water, breaking down the last physical and social barrier. It is the real and symbolic space of «fun». The Fun Island is completed by two opening wings and an aft platform that reveals a large staircase that descents into the water.

Seadeck is the first Series of hybrid motoryachts for families and the first line conceived with a holistic approach, which integrates the solutions used on Azimut’s Low Emission Yachts with hybrid engines and on-board systems designed to reduce energy absorption. A combination that will allow the reduction of 40% of CO2 emissions in a year of average use, between navigation and stops at anchor.

Overview
Captain Boomie introduced the vessel as "the second in the series." She highlighted the boat's quiet operation directly at the top of the walkthrough: "What you're not hearing is engine noises, and that's because she's got something very special going on" — referring to the boat's electric propulsion, discussed further below.
"Fun Island" (Fold-Down Platform)
Captain Boomie's assessment: "The most jaw-dropping part of this whole yacht is the fun island. This folds down and becomes a completely different space for all of my water and sea-loving boaters out there."
Interior Design Philosophy
Captain Boomie noted the interior was designed by a firm without prior yacht design experience: "They are pioneers in the eco-tourism space, and made sure that you feel like everything is very natural, everything feels very open, everything feels very organic." Her personal impression: "This feels like a rainforest to me, with this wood[work] the way it's done."
Lower Helm
Captain Boomie expressed trust in the marine electronics/systems integrator (referred to in the transcript simply as "azme," likely a brand name rendered unclear in the source audio): "I totally trust [them] when it comes to a helm layout. They always make it look very attractive, very user-friendly." She praised the helm chairs as "fabulously comfortable."
Propulsion controls: Volvo Penta system with joystick control — Captain Boomie noted this addresses a potential concern with the electric engines: "You don't have to worry that your new electric engines are gonna surprise you. You're gonna have a super easy time docking."
Control board: A fully electronic control panel is located at the lower helm. Captain Boomie noted a learning curve: "This is gonna take some learning and some getting used to, but when you buy something like this, they will teach you how to use it."
Helm/Galley Combination
Captain Boomie flagged this layout choice directly: "This helm is also the galley, and I don't know how I feel about that just yet." She noted some positive aspects nonetheless: "I think it's still an attractive galley. I love this window." She also offered a possible functional upside: "A lot of times whoever's preparing food can't see forward, and it sure would be nice to have somebody here who could also be a lookout for me if I'm at this lower helm."
Galley detail: Captain Boomie specifically praised the latch hardware ("these latches are everything") and noted espresso cups with custom-cut holders provided aboard.
Below-Deck Layout
Transition/overhead design: Described by Captain Boomie as geometric but interesting, setting the tone for the cabin spaces below.
Layout note: The master cabin is positioned aft, with other cabins forward. The bed in at least one cabin is placed diagonally rather than conventionally.
Master Cabin
Captain Boomie's characterization: "It does feel more like you're going to a high-end eco resort than a yacht." The head in this cabin was similarly described as departing from traditional yacht design conventions.
Starboard Twin Cabin
Features stacked twin berths. Captain Boomie's assessment of this arrangement: "Anytime you have this, the opposing stacks, I think it just makes it a little more dynamic, a little more interesting, a little more fun, and a little easier for the person up top to get in." She noted large, luxurious storage throughout.
Port Double Cabin
Includes overhead storage, a nightstand, and a TV that doubles as a mirror. This cabin has en suite head access, and that same head also serves the twin cabin via a secondary access point.
Head finish: Captain Boomie praised the green sink color choice, noting full storage and a full mirror along this area. She also noted indirect lighting along the top and bottom of each head, plus recessed overhead lighting, as a consistent design element throughout the boat's heads.
VIP Cabin
The bed is canted (angled) to give occupants more usable room on either side. Storage is provided under and behind the bed, plus a closet.
VIP head: Continues the "eco green," wood, and bronze finish theme. Captain Boomie named this her favorite shower among all the cabins, specifically citing its rounded shape: "I think it just adds a little more opulence, a little more elegance to what is otherwise still a really nice little rainforest experience."
Accessibility Note
Captain Boomie flagged a caution for potential buyers: "I will caution people that yes, it's non-traditional, which means they haven't taken into consideration maybe people with more difficulty getting around. There are a lot of steps up and steps down throughout this vessel." She noted personally encountering two steps just navigating between cabin areas.
Flybridge (Upper Helm)
Captain Boomie's enthusiastic assessment: "I'm totally in love with this flybridge, because they didn't skimp on cushion space. Sometimes the flybridge, they only give you like a little narrow place for you to be."
Propeller status indicator: A visual display shows when the propellers are engaged or disengaged — Captain Boomie explained the relevance for an electric drive system: "That makes a lot of sense for an electric drive, because it's so quiet, you're not gonna have the same [click-clunk] that you get with big diesels." She described the propellers retracting/deploying as demonstrated (turning off and later being put back into position).
Closing Assessment
Captain Boomie's overall take on the design departure from convention: "If you're used to more traditional yacht design, this boat's gonna throw you for a loop. This doesn't look like granddad's yacht. Instead, they're allowed to play a lot more, and I think that has to do with the fact that so many more people came to boating since the pandemic. And it's really changed what manufacturers are allowed to do, because new ideas have come in, new people, all kinds of cool things."
