Brief Summary

It’s not uncommon to see an average runabout in the 22’ (6.71 m) category that has limited interior space, mostly due to the fact that there’s often a molded swim platform taking up a lot of that space inside the cockpit. It makes one ask, “Why don’t they just go to the extended swim platform seen on larger boats?” Well, that’s exactly what Bayliner has done with the VR Series, and it's well illustrated by the new VR6. She’s a true 22’ boat, with 20’ (6.09 m) of useable space, and in the same price range, taking the place of the old 195 and 215 BR that offered significantly less cockpit room.
