Chris-Craft Sportster 25
An Affordable Classic
Chris-Craft’s new Sportster 25 model is designed to give the luxury brand a lower-priced point of entry to appeal to a broader range of prospective buyers, while still delivering the immediately identifiable Chris-Craft profile.
The Sportster 25 is described as combining “modern flair with classic Chris-Craft styling”. She has a retail price starting at $149,950 –nearly $60,000 lower than the next model in the lineup.
The boat has flexible seating arrangements, an expansive stern sunpad, an all-new hull design and a contemporary helm with glass dash. A power-folding top is an option, and a fold out seat on the swim platform makes reboarding easy.
The new model retains Chris-Craft’s distinctive classic styling while offering expanded gelcoat hull side colors, a leather-look wrapped console and a premium JL Audio sound package.
With a beam of 8’6” (2.6m) and a weight of 5,680 lb (2,576 kg) she’s trailerable with a Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder or other vehicles in that range.
Sterndrive power options from Mercury and Volvo Penta range from 300 to 380 horsepower.
The Heritage Edition gets a full teak floor, aft covering boards, helm footrests and teak swim platform among other extras.
