Deep Impact Boats Launches their latest 499 Sport: A Six-Engine Statement of Power, Innovation, and Custom Craftsmanship
Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 2025 – Deep Impact Boats is proud to announce another masterpiece has left the building, a new 499 Sport. Boasting SIX Mercury Racing 500R outboards, this 49-foot center console is the most powerful Deep Impact ever built with a staggering 3,000 horsepower built for offshore dominance with an extraordinary fusion of engineering, technology, and high-performance design. The transom and hull were specifically engineered to support the weight and performance dynamics of six engines, ensuring maximum efficiency, handling, and structural integrity under high-performance offshore conditions.
This 499, alongside Simon Tusha’s 499, will tour various premier performance boating events—including the Bahamas Poker Run, Rockin’ the Harbor, Boyne Thunder, Lake of the Ozarks (LOTO), Pirates of Lake Lanier, Emerald Coast Poker Run, and the iconic Key West Poker Run.

Electronics & Helm Technology
The 499 Sport is a command center on the water, boasting an elite electronics suite. Included are a Garmin Empirbus Digital Switching System throughout the vessel’s six Garmin displays ranging from 27” to 10”.
The electronics also include Starlink with smart TV and mirroring capabilities on the MFD’s, a FLIR night vision camera, extreme JL Audio M series sound system and Lumitec Full Spectrum lighting and light bars.
This build also features an exclusive Wes Jones Custom paint scheme. The company says it’s designed to stand out and make a statement at every poker run on the tour.
Advanced Lighting Features Throughout
Lighting features throughout the 499 Sport include Lumitec’s Full Spectrum under-gunwale, boarding, underwater & hardtop lighting, lighted cupholders throughout (a total of 14 above decks), forward and aft spreader lights and additional docking lights.
Starlight fiber optic headliners are also included in the hardtop and the cabin.
The cockpit features a summer kitchen equipped with dual refrigerators, dual sink, dual ice chests, and custom Yeti cup and wine storage.
Inside the Full Cabin
Designed for comfort on overnight stays, the 499 Sport’s full cabin delivers both privacy and functionality.
Featuring a separate electric head, full-size bed and a kitchenette, it also includes a wraparound lounge, flat-screen TV, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, sink, and hot water heater.
Relaxing on the wrap-around couch, guests have a full-length water view through the hull-side windows.
Versatility plus comfortable seating for 16+ Guests
On-deck features include luxury bow seating for five. Behind the console is bolstered seating for six in two rows, while a seat across the transom can handle five more guests.
The oversized hard-top has tinted sun windows and multiple recessed speakers.
The standard dive door has a stainless steel swim ladder that stores in the bilge compartment.
She also has abundant hidden storage throughout, including three large compartments under the bow seating, under-gunwale dockline storage and a specialized bow compartment sized to handle luggage and spare parts as well as Coast Guard safety equipment.
The bow also includes a windlass compartment equipped with a windlass, 300’ of anchor rode and 30’ of chain.
There are also six floor storage compartments, including two in the cockpit insulated for cold storage. These can have chillplates added as an option.
The oversized bilge compartment allows easy access to all mechanicals and pumps, and is sized to handle a Sea Keeper 6 and a generator as options.
The large transom storage has space for swim toys as well as additional fenders.
