Four Winns H9
The Four Winns’ new H9 model and it is stunning.
This is a 29-foot 11-inch luxury day boat with a 9- foot 2-inch beam and it features a fabulous expansive flat deck all the way from the bow rider area to the transom and the swim platform.
Perhaps the most impressive feature is telectrically activated side terraces. At the touch of a button, the aft sections of the hull sides fold outward to lie flat. This increases the width of the aft deck by about 5-feet in total to give you lots of suntan or party room when you’re moored out at the sandbar. With the Four Winns H9, you bring the beach with you.
An electrically operated hard top provides shade and shelter from the elements. If it starts to rain or if you need to store the boat in a boathouse, the top electrically lowers to almost touch the top of the windshield.
Our test boat was equipped with twin Mercury 300XL Verado V8 outboards that proved to be impressively quiet and powerful. Even with a gang of people on board the acceleration was impressive and trimmed out, the boat was just flying with the top speed of close to 55 mph.
With handsome lines and a richly appointed interior including features like a private head compartment and a picnic galley, this boat defines the best attributes of the day boating lifestyle.
