New Boat: Lazzara LPC 300

by Capt. Ken Kreisler

The Launch

The coming out party for the Lazzara LPC 300 will be held at this coming Cannes Yacht Festival in September and the excitement and anticipation is building every day.

Notable features include an expanded aft deck and platform, and which functions as a ‘beach club’, courtesy of an amazing 29-foot beam, one whose breadth is an ongoing theme and which affects all the space in both the exterior and interior spaces aboard the LPC 300 as it is carried fully forward. In excess of 300m²/3,200ft² of functional space to work with, the result is a blank canvas on which to create luxurious surroundings for any owner’s needs and vision.

Each deck takes full advantage of the LPC 300's dimensions, affording owners and guests of many opportunities for entertaining and cruising. Note the starboard terrace servicing the owner’s stateroom as well the expansive deck space all around.

As shown here in this rendering of the main deck, even with a tender stowed on the end of the swim platform, there is still a large amount of room provided for entertaining with seats to port and starboard as well as tables for dining. The salon features opposing couches with a dedicated dining space with seating for 10. A centrally located atrium here, above the galley, also adds to the volume. The lower helm is forward and to starboard and the bow, again with the yachts’ 29-foot beam carried fully forward, offers spacious seating.

The expansive bridge deck offers space for a hot tub, bbq, seating, bar, dining for 10, plenty of storage space, and a centerline helm forward.

The accommodations deck offers four guest staterooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. The owner’s amidships, full-beam stateroom has private access to the aft deck ‘beach club’ space along with the starboard terrace and en suite head. Found on this deck ,as well as throughout the LPC 300, is outstanding storage space for those extended and longer times away from your home dock.

A pair of private quarters for the crew, each with en suite heads and plenty of storage space. For the hands-on owner/operators, this space can be used as additional berths – which likely will be needed -- or more storage space if needed.

A Look Inside

Given the expansive interior volume, the design and engineering teams had lots of space to work with. The result is not only a luxurious interpretation of what is needed for a cruising yacht, but the ability to prepare décor, fabrics, finishes, and accessories according to each owners’ needs.

Euro Marine Shipyards

Any boat or yacht is only as good as the place and personnel who build it and the Lazzara LPC 300, along with all Lazzara Yachts, is built at the Antalya Free Zone Turkish shipyard of the Euro Marine Group Ltd., a company known for its expert and skilled workforce and forward thinking approach to yacht design and construction. Founded in 2014, Euro Marine acquired Lazzara in late 2018 and with its fully integrated abilities, is able to customize each yacht it builds to create a personal statement of ownership.

Capable of handling yacht construction up to 215 feet/65 meters, the shipyards’ cavernous Build Hall features a climate controlled resin storage and mixing room, separate plumbing and electrical shops, dedicated bulkhead and deck lamination space with in-floor heating for vacuum bagging and infusion, and post-curing. Its overhead bridge crane has an 11-ton capacity and its launching equipment includes 350- and 2000-metric ton trailers as well as a 2000-metric ton synchro lift.

Along with its superyacht approach to interior design, joinery and finishing, critical and electrical systems, and all the other myriad components and functions that go into the finished product, the yard also features an in-house design studio and specialized technology and analytics departments.
