Regal 36/38 XO (2025-)

Brief Summary

The Regal 36 XO and 38 XO are two new outboard-powered models that the company builds in its “Yacht” series. They are both express cruisers with two cabins and one head below, and salon’s with galley, and helm in the main cabin.  Their accommodations layout and main deck layout are nearly identical to the inboard-power version of the same boat, then boats are built on the same hull. 

These vessels are designed for cruising and watersports activities and can be used as dayboats, weekenders or coastal cruisers for extended adventures. In order to illustrate the use of these boats, BoatTEST’s Capt. Trip operated the boat for several days in the Florida keys. 

Experience the Florida Keys aboard the Regal 38 XO and 36 XO in this overnight adventure from Key Largo to Marathon and back. This trip offered a unique opportunity to fully immerse in these boats' capabilities over 24 hours. After a smooth cruise to Marathon, we spent the night aboard, enjoying the luxurious accommodations. The next day, we snorkeled at Alligator Reef Lighthouse and enjoyed lunch featuring a classic burger cookout on the boat’s grill, with picture-perfect views of the reef. Afterwards we made a couple stops on our way back to Marathon and caught two lobsters, which we grilled for dinner while anchored and enjoyed a glorious sunset. This trip showcased the Regal 38 XO and 36 XO’s exceptional performance, comfort, and design, making them ideal for adventures and relaxation alike.
