Saxdor 340 GTWA

Finnish builder Saxdor Yachts has unveiled their latest model, the Saxdor 340 GTWA.

Initially announced as the 320 GTWA at boot Düsseldorf just a few months ago, this new Saxdor model is larger than anticipated at 34 feet, and featuring two large lateral terraces or balconies, one of the brand’s signature traits.

Fold-out balconies add deck space in this otherwise relatively compact package.

The Saxdor 340 GTWA is designed to offer both accessibility and comfort, creating an expansive space for for leisure activities and protection in the cabin from adverse weather conditions.

It’s the first wheelhouse walkaround model in Saxdor’s fleet and she features large side terraces that increase and enhance the space available to guests when opened, making the area ideal for socializing and enjoying the water.

The helm station is enclosed by glass all around, including two sliding glass doors. A three-person lounge is just aft.

The bright wheelhouse features large glass sliding doors and a sliding sunroof, flooding light and air into the cozy dinette with a rotating sofa.

The helm station of the 340 GTWA can be equipped with two 12-inch MFD’s. It’s accessed by lateral sliding glass doors. The enclosed helm area also includes a three-person bench seat.

The forward lounging area includes a cocktail table, and can be converted into a sunlounge with the table lowered.

An additional gathering space is provided by the bow area, which can seat as many as 6 to enjoy a cocktail and also transforms into a large sunpad.

The cabin benefits from skylights as well as side windows. Note the sunshades to provide shade and privacy when desired.

The lower deck includes a forward double cabin with a separate head. Large skylights and windows provide lots of natural light.

With the optional aft cabin, the Saxdor 340 GWTA can overnight four.

The optional aft cabin, which can be accessed by lifting the aft bench seat, can also accommodate two people. Both cabins benefit from ample natural light from large windows, with the forward cabin lit through a roof hatch and a large side window.

Standard power is twin 300-hp outboards, promising strong performance.

The new Saxdor 340 GTWA is made with a light yet rigid hull using vacuum infusion technology.  

This model combines excellent seakeeping with efficient fuel consumption, according to the builder.  Standard power is twin 300-hp outboards.
