Captain's Report
Tiara 43 LS: Ideal Marriage of Sport and Luxury
Editor’s Report by Capt. Steve
Brief Summary
The Tiara 43 LS is well suited for spending days above deck and nights below. Her multiple social zones each have unique qualities that make them stand out.
Most notable is the luxury seen throughout the 43 LS that sets it apart from the competition, in true Tiara fashion. Originally powered with triple 425-hp Yamaha XTO outboards, she’s been repowered with the new dual 600-hp Mercury Verado V12s. Combine that with her deep-V hull with a 21-degree transom deadrise and the appeal factor skyrockets.
Mission
The mission of the Tiara 43 LS is to provide a premium level combination day boat and weekender that can tame the harsh conditions of offshore boating.

Cockpit
The cockpit is the first of many social zones and it’s also the most creative. It starts with a forward-facing U-lounge wrapping around a high gloss teak table on a hi-lo pedestal. It’s on an elevated platform that is off the main deck. A latch to the port side can be released and the entire seating area can be rotated to aft-facing — a remarkable way to enjoy the 43 LS when coving or at anchor. Ahead is aft-facing seating that provides opposing gatherings and overhead protection is from an extendable Makefast sunshade. An on-deck galley is just ahead of the seating.
The on-deck mid galley includes a sink, an electric grill and plenty of open counter space. Below is a full-length bolster, beautiful wood trim work making up the face of several drawers, a trash receptacle with storage for the sink cover, two refrigerated drawers and additional storage. A 32” (81.28 cm) TV drops down from the overhead.
Bow
The bow is accessed from a 17” (43.18 cm) wide starboard sidedeck. The port side is closed off with an elevated boarding deck. The wraparound seating includes three across forward-facing lounges with flip armrests and a raisable footrest that resembles a home recliner. A high gloss teak table has dedicated storage.
