Brief Summary
A new Tiara always bears our close examination because of the years of building, and engineering expertise that goes in to its new boats which are always designed for family cruising. The Slikkers family (now with 3rd generation members working in the company) cruise their boats every summer, so we expect the boat to be practical. Capt. Trip does an in-depth video inspection to show you what they've done. She'll be at the Palm Beach Boat Show this month. The 56LS is Tiara's largest outboard powered model ever for 2025.

The all-new 56 LS is a premium-class design that will become part of Tiara's Luxury Sport (LS) series, which includes the 34, 38, 43 and 48-foot models.
The new boat will be powered by four 600-hp Mercury Verado outboards and her projected top speed is over 55 mph.
Tiara has been increasing both the size and capability of their lineup. They launched their largest-ever inboard model in 2022, the EX 60, before following up with the EX 54 in late 2023.
Now the company adds an outboard model of comparable size with the highly customizable 56 LS.
The 56 LS has an LOA of 56' 2" (17 m) with the integrated stern platform, a beam of 16' (4.87 m), a 4' (1.22 m) draught and 21 degrees of deadrise. Dry weight comes in at 39,600 lbs (17,962 kg) with a 1,000-gallon fuel tank (3,785 L) and a 150-gallon (567 L) water capacity.
The integrated electronics package includes Garmin® Empirbus Technology.
The exterior of the 56 LS offers boaters several social spaces including a fully-equipped galley that overlooks the aft cockpit. Two unique aft cockpit module options focused on entertaining or fishing allow each vessel to be customized.
Port and starboard hullside terraces expand the beam by more than six feet. With full walk-around capabilities and pilothouse doors to port and starboard of the helm, there is unimpeded access to the bow lounge area.
Below deck, two staterooms and two private heads can comfortably welcome five guests for overnight or extended stays.

Overview
Captain Tripp's framing: "What I see the primary use of this boat is a beautiful and large luxurious day boat that can also be used for a bit of cruising."
Power
Quad 600 V12s. Captain Tripp: "[This] should push it along at an exhilarating pace while you're protected in a beautiful salon." He praised the clean mounting and rigging of the engines, noting ample walking space at the transom.
Transom
Two electric Kenyon grills, along with storage for dock lines and fenders and an outlet suited to a blender or an inflator for water toys. LED pop-up accent lighting runs along both sides.
Underneath storage: Dedicated storage for cleaning poles/boat hooks on the starboard side, plus dedicated fender storage. A built-in blower is provided for inflating water toys.
Swim platform (port side): Telescopic boarding ladder. Under the steps leading into the cockpit: fresh and raw water rinse-down, plus a Reverso engine flush system in the same compartment.
Starboard side: Shore power access, with the cord tucking neatly into an electric reel. Captain Tripp praised the Cablemaster control placement: "Right here in the compartment and not somewhere else. So if you're single-handing, this is easy to deploy."
Cockpit — Terrace Doors and Seating
Large terrace doors with a side boarding door open up the cockpit for entertaining. Captain Tripp praised the new stitching pattern and curved armrest design introduced on this model, noting they recur throughout the boat and the cabin, giving it "a more elegant look."
Electric awning: Provides shade over this large seating area; a table is optional.
Convertible bench seating: A push-button-actuated bench slides aft to create seating for 10 people.
Hidden ottomans: Tucked beneath the aft bench — usable as a coffee table, flipped to serve as a footrest, or slid to either side to add extra seating for the dining table (two of these ottomans are provided). Storage is also located beneath the seating.
Fish Box / Second Terrace
A large, fairly deep fish box is located outboard. Further to port, a second terrace door deploys with its own side boarding door. Captain Tripp noted a distinctive feature here: "There is a swim ladder on this terrace. So once it's deployed, you can extend the swim ladder down in the water... this would be a fantastic place for [kids] to board back onto, or just a great place to board in general, kind of away from the party."
Adventure Module (Option)
Captain Tripp noted this package changes the transom configuration, adding livewells, an additional grilling station, more storage, and a different seating option, described as stepping up "your adventure game on this boat."
Mechanical Space Access
A custom cutout underneath the cockpit table allows the mechanical space access hatch to clear the table when opened.
Contents: AGM house batteries and electrical components (one side); starting batteries, Glendinning shore power reel, and electrical panel (starboard side); hot water heater; Seakeeper gyro stabilizer; and a Cummins generator.
Labeling: Captain Tripp specifically praised Tiara's practice: "Almost every single hose and wire and other component on the boat has a label on it that includes the length of that wire, the part number, and some other key information. And if you needed to replace it, you can do it with ease."
Salon Approach / Speaker Concealment
One small step leads up to the salon. Captain Tripp noted Tiara's practice of concealing speakers behind acoustically transparent fabric throughout the boat.
Outdoor Galley (Primary Galley)
Captain Tripp identified this as one of the most innovative features on the model: "The main galley of the boat has been placed outside the salon. This keeps any new smoke or smells out in the open air and makes it easy to serve guests without having to open and close the salon door. It will also be another gathering venue and keeps the cook a part of the conversation among the guests in the stern."
Convertible bar area: Moving a seat aside opens a walkway that also functions as a bar area — the seat's headrest rolls back over the seat to become a cushioned backrest with a grab handle, providing a perch suited to riding while underway near the bar.
Salon Doors
Both entry doors can slide fully to the port side, opening a large unobstructed view. Combined with the sunroof and a side door (detailed later), Captain Tripp compared the effect to being on a center console: "Just open here on a beautiful day, this will be a fantastic place."
Salon Interior
L-shaped seating with a high-low table — lowering it and adding a filler cushion creates an additional sun pad. A smaller bench with continued storage is located on the port side, featuring an armrest Captain Tripp specifically defended: "They may think, okay, that's a weird spot for an armrest, but I like keeping things clean... this was gonna keep my guests off of my glass and keep my glass clean."
Headroom / finish: Ample headroom, with accent lighting highlighting the curved design elements. A TV flips down from the overhead via push button.
Helm
Beam: 16 feet, which Captain Tripp noted allows comfortable seating for four at the helm, all included in the journey.
Seating: Bolstered throughout, with a magnetically secured deployable step providing the operator additional elevation and visibility.
Digital switching system: Captain Tripp specifically praised Tiara's partnership with Garmin on this: "I've been operating boats while underway... with a digital switching [system]... sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for or even press it while you're underway. Well, what they have done is they have partnered with Garmin, and they've gone in and they have customized these screens pretty well. So you have large indicators of what the buttons do, and they're easy to read and easy to press while you're underway."
Helm finish/equipment: Three large Garmin screens, a wooden steering wheel, wooden dash accents, AC vents, joystick, bow thruster, engine controls, a grab handle, and a small glove box on the starboard side.
Salon Side Door
Push-button operated, sliding fully open. Captain Tripp praised the design: "When it's closed, it doesn't look like a door, but when it's open, the way it tucks in the sides, it just is designed so well and just fits into the flow of the boat very nicely."
Bow Access
Dedicated dock line storage, followed by a grab rail leading all the way to the bow. A door (if shut) can be opened via an external switch. Deck-side windows let light into the cabin below.
Bow Seating
Ample space for a multitude of guests, complete with headrests, individual chargers, and an independent Fusion audio zone. Tables fold up out of the way and are mounted on high-low bases, allowing filler cushions to be added for expanded lounging space. Footrests beneath the seats lift and articulate into different positions for comfort while underway.
Anchor Locker
Captain Tripp expressed particular enthusiasm for this feature: "What I'm most excited to show you up at the bow is this anchor locker."
Contents:
- Dedicated dock line storage
- Two 5-gallon pails (usable for cast nets, cleaning supplies, or — when removed — for storing 12-inch fenders)
- Fresh and raw water rinse-down (hose storable in a pail)
- A light for nighttime anchoring or early-morning departures
- Bow-mounted shore power — giving the option of bow or stern shore power connection depending on dock layout
Companionway / Accommodation Entry
A storage compartment on the left conceals a microwave (the primary outdoor galley does not have one) and a deep drawer. The atrium is finished in the same woven fabric seen throughout the boat. A sturdy grab handle runs along the right side, with a small cubby tray hiding two induction chargers.
Master Cabin (Forward)
Ample headroom with a skylight above; the ceiling steps down in a couple of places but still leaves ample room over the berth. Captain Tripp praised the island berth configuration for ease of access and bed-making.
Electronics: A Garmin display functions as a mini MFD, controlling boat systems and providing chart/radar access — useful for checking anchor position or monitoring another operator underway.
Storage/charging: Additional storage; a pop-up unit conceals USB ports and outlets rather than exposed sockets — Captain Tripp noted this contributes to the cabin's elegance.
Accommodation Layout
Two-cabin, two-head layout.
Master head (port side): Walk-in shower, large vanity with substantial storage, vessel sink, and matching lighting/accent details found throughout the boat.
VIP Cabin (Aft, Under Helm/Salon)
Reasonable headroom at entry, stepping down somewhat due to its position beneath the helm/salon. Captain Tripp noted the configurable bed layout as unusual for this position on a boat: "You can have one bed in the middle, or you can slide the two sections outboard to make twin beds. This is an option we rarely find in the VIP cabin."
Lighting controls: Digital light switch panel, replacing multiple hidden manual switches — Captain Tripp: "Welcome to the digital age."
VIP Head (Starboard)
Dedicated shower with a bench. Design details (flooring pattern, stitching) match the rest of the boat. Includes an electric flush toilet, vessel sink, and a large hull-side window for natural light.
Closing
Captain Tripp: "I can't wait to see it on the water and see how it performs."
