River Cruising? Plan Ahead
Bill Noble is a regular reader of BoatTEST newsletters
and sends us captivating, sometimes amusing, but always interesting pictures and
videos of boating and boating venues world wide. Some of the best stuff published
on these pages comes from bill. He owns a 42’ cruiser which he ranges up and down
the U.S. East Coast, but sometimes he goes boating elsewhere in the world. He is
now planning a South American trip for this winter and sent along these pictures
of a river system where he plans to go boating. He works for Coors Lite and is paid
in 6-pack units; usable pictures getting one six pack, to great videos (like the
tanker interview two weeks ago) earning him 4 six-packs. We’ve decided to let our
readers show their appreciation – or lack of it -- for his contributions by telling
us how many Coors Lite 6-packs to pay him.

Iguazu Falls lies between Brazil and Argentina and drains into the Rio Parana. |
|
The falls was “discovered” by Spanish Conquistador Alvar Nunez Cabaza de Vaca (How would you like to be called cow head? No wonder he left Spain.) in 1541. |
|
175 falls stretching around a horse shoe 1.76 miles long. |
|
In 1984 the park surrounding the falls was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. |
|
Iguazu Falls is listed in the book, “1,000 Places to Visit Before You Die.” |
|
This falls is rivaled only by Victoria Falls in Southern Africa between Zimbabwe and Zambia. |
|
Planes from Rio and BA take tourists directly to the site where choppers abound to fly people over the falls. |

In a recent dry spell only 80,000 per second fell over the falls. Go in the rainy season. |
That’s all folk. So now, tell us how many 6-Packs of Coors Light we should pay reader
Bill Noble for his contribution this week? (From one to four.)
