35' Center Console Aground on Chandeleur Island
See video of the rescue and the beautiful 35 CC left in the

If you have ever flown over the Chandeleur Island chain at the mouth of the Mississippi,
then you know how large it is. Last month four
boaters in a 35’ center console called
“Sea Cruiser” managed to not only find it 27
miles south of Gulfport, MS, but also
to run up so far aground -- in shallow
water – that they couldn’t get off. The USCG responded to a distress call and in no time the four were hoisted to safety aboard
an HH-65C chopper. We wonder if that nice-looking boat is still there.
