Corrosion Test of Shurhold Product

About three months ago we starting
using the Shurhold handle with the exclusive SHUR-LOK quick release system along
with some of the forty attachments to choose from. Since the manufacturer told us they are made from high grade aluminum, heat treated and triple anodized so they
last longer and be more durable, we thought we would create a little test. Thirty
days ago we began spraying the handle with sea water each night and leaving it out to dry.
We took extra care to really douse the adjustment detent, to ensure the
entire mechanism was soaked. So what was the result when we check it this Tuesday?
Well, see for your self, still good as new and working perfectly.

 Shurhold Corrosion Test
You would expect to find corrosion at the end
points or where holes have been punched through metal, but as you can see, even
after thirty days of sea water there is no corrosion.

The detent, with a spring mechanism under it is
an obvious trouble area. I’m sure we all have little spring loaded clips and fasteners
on our boats that no longer function properly, but not here, the detent works perfectly.

If you look carefully, you can see that even the
screw on the brush head has resisted the temptation to rust.
