Chum-Bucket’s Boats Being Sold at US Marshall Auction

Since this is a family publication we will refrain from any remarks about Bernie Madoff, however we will opine that such frauds and hundreds of others like them which go on every week -- but don’t make the newspapers because they only involve a few hundred million dollars -- happen because the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is a joke. While we expected SEC to be cozy with Wall Street slime such as Madoff during the last administration, we have yet to see the current one do any better. Heads up to all bottom feeders, now is your chance to gorge on the misfortune of folks who thought their government would protect them.

Aging Houseboat
This classic 1969 55’ Rybovich is one of three Bernie Madoff boats being auctioned. Thank goodness Rybo isn’t here to see this desecration of his artwork.

A live auction will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 4:00 pm, at National Liquidators’ headquarters, 1915 Southwest 21st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale. (Where else?)
