Each year the USCG analyzes the accident reports filed the previous year and compiles the data into an informative, detailed and long report that is designed to educate boaters as to the specific causes of accidents. Last week the USCG issued its report for 2010.
The brave men and women of the USCG risk their lives every day all over the U.S. to save boaters in life-threatening danger, and that is just one of their missions. Boating safety education is another.
