Beneteau Oceanis 41.1:
New Cruiser-Racer Sailing Yacht
Offered in a two or three stateroom configuration with one or two heads, the Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 is an intermediate-sized sailing yacht that provides the flexibility of day sailing or racing, as well as intermediate to long distance cruising. She should be an easy yacht to sail: the jib furling comes all the way back to the helm station, so there's no need to move forward through the cockpit to unfurl or reef. The hard chine allows Beneteau to extend the beam farther outboard, which results in additional room and stability.

World Cat 320CC:
Fully-Loaded Upscale Fishing Cat
The twin-hull configuration of the World Cat 320CC means she carries her full 10'6" (3.20 m) beam width nearly all the way to the bow, providing lots of extra fishing and lounging room forward compared to monohulls. The sharp forward entry of the hulls delivers a comfortable ride in choppy seas, and, unlike some cats, the 320CC does not lean outboard in turns. The company reports speeds in excess of 50 mph with twin 300s.

Hatteras GT54:
Long-Range Luxury Fisherman Sleeps 6
The Hatteras GT54 is designed for serious long-range tournament fishing, but she provides the comfort and build of a top-shelf luxury yacht. She's got a range of over 400 miles at cruise, and with a solid fiberglass bottom below the waterline, she's built for years of service. Solid, closed cell foam coring in the superstructure plus a resin-infusion build helps cut weight. Polyurethane paint over the gel coat adds a high-gloss look, as well as requiring little maintenance for years. The galley "up" design leaves room below for three staterooms, one with a pair of singles ideal for kids or crew.

There's a head in the console, and a 24"-tall stainless steel bow rail adds a safety factor forward for kids or elderly anglers.

The Icom IC-M25 offers several features for competitively-priced hand-held VHF, including "Float N Flash" -- if the radio is submerged, this feature lights up and sounds an audible alarm. Regal 2100 RX:
Premium Watersports Platform
A test run in the Regal 2100 RX impressed our test captain with the boat's acceleration, top speed, and handling, all thanks at least in part to the boat's FasTrac stepped hull. The PowerTower offers electric actuation on the towing tower for easy passage under bridges or sliding in to covered docks. Trailering brake lights on the transom are another unusual feature included standard here.
