Stylish 3 Stateroom Yacht
The Galeon 660 Fly includes a hydraulically-actuated "teak beach" swim platform extending 5'6" (1.67 m) off the transom as standard equipment -- a useful spot for the ship's tender as well as for enjoying the water. She is distinguished by outstanding joinery, including solid wood doors and cabinetry, rather than veneers over plywood. Rubber seals around passage doors prevent rattling and A/C loss. The VIP stateroom at the bow includes skylights, while all accommodations below deck are well-lighted by large hullside windows. Galeon is known for its innovations and fine joiner work.

Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel engines with 480 Mhp or 550 Mhp provide the power for speeds in the upper 20-knot range, according to the builder.

Designed to Handle Blue Water
The Boston Whaler 380 Outrage includes a “dynamic running surface” trim tab system. Large triangular planes integrated in the running surface increase lift compared to traditional transom-mounted tabs, reduce drag and allow a cleaner flow off the tabs. Her top speed with triple 350-hp Mercury Verados was 50 mph, while best cruise was at 4000 rpm and 29.3 mph, where she got 0.9 mpg for a safe range of 359 statute miles.
