Intrepid builds its hulls via vacuum-bag infusion of fiberglass cloth over coring materials, resulting in hulls and parts that are exceptionally strong and light. Reduced weight means improved fuel economy and performance with a given horsepower. Final inspections include infrared scanning to ensure the finished hull is formed properly, with no voids or weak spots. Intrepid is the only company we know of that does this.
