Grady-White Freedom 325:
Durable, Well-Equipped Offshore DC
The Grady-White Freedom 325 is a seaworthy, bluewater dual console thanks to her high freeboard, bow flare, and general construction. Her Rybovich sheer line also gives her a distinctive Grady look. Note the standard port-side dive door, a plus not only for swimmers, but also for handling oversized fish. She is completely self-bailing and has extra-large scuppers. The hardtop and large safety glass windshield are standard.

We Compare 20'-21' Sportboats:
4 Affordable Bowriders

Good things often come in small packages. Consider the four sportboats in today's comparison: All are among the lowest-priced boats in their size range yet each one is from a recognized “name” brand. Each one has the performance it takes to keep younger boaters interested and to remind older boaters that age is just a number.
But, since they are “value-oriented” models, the trick is to find the boat which has not skimped on the very thing you want to have. Each builder has taken a slightly different approach to creating an affordable boat. Find out what they are.

Sea Ray SLX-W 230:
Crossover Wakesports Platform w/Upscale Features
The Sea Ray SLX-W 230 is well equipped for wakesports, and comes loaded with upscale features, including a warm-water shower on the transom, heated air system in the cockpit, a fold-out swim step rather than a boarding ladder, and a huge board-storage compartment under the aft sun pad. Unlike many single inboards, she was surprisingly easy to dock thanks to standard bow and stern thrusters coupled with the MerCruiser 320 V-Drive via a Mercury Joystick.

Absolute 50 Fly:
Italian Flair, Accommodations for 6
Bold Italian styling makes it easy to identify the Absolute 50 Fly, and the creative design work carries through into the interior where there are three plush, well-illuminated staterooms and two heads below decks. Crew quarters with wet head aft could double as a hideout for the grandkids on owner-operator yachts. Note the broad sun pads on the flying bridge ahead of the console as well as at the bow.

Evinrude 10 Year Coverage:
A Legacy of Dependability
Ole Evinrude invented the outboard engine in 1909 because he got tired of rowing his boat across the lake where he had a summer cottage. And almost exactly 100 years later, the engineers at Evinrude re-invented the 2-stroke Evinrude engine, making it the lowest emissions outboard on the market, and making it as fuel-efficient as a 4-stroke. Because it is a high-tech 2-stroke with over 100 fewer parts than all of the 4-strokes, it has far fewer things to go wrong. For that reason, and others, the company is able to offer a 10-year “coverage” of the engines, covering everything except regular replacement items such as the fuel filter -- on engines bought before April 30, 2018.
