Today, we round up four flybridge cruisers ranging from 43' (13.1 m) to 46' (14 m). For many boaters, a forty-something-footer without a flying bridge is not worth considering. The jaunty express is not for them; they prefer the wind-in-the-face, sunshine-on-the-shoulders experience of life on the flying bridge. The 45 includes two heads below decks, unusual in a yacht this size, as well as sleeping accommodations for four. A 13 kW generator and 40,000 BTU AC are standard, as is the power sunroof. Horizon PC74:

Broad-Beamed Cat w/5 En Suites

Horizon PC74
Horizon PC74

With a 28’4” (8.63 m) beam, the twin-hull Horizon PC74 has the interior dimensions of a much larger mono-hull yacht, which is particularly apparent in the expansive and luxurious salon. Below decks, she has space for five en suites. Props of the twin 1136-hp CAT C18 ACERTs are set into tunnels, allowing her to travel shallower than some yachts of similar size, and a "wave-breaker" V between the twin hulls eases the ride offshore.

Prestige 680

The Prestige 680 is available with three or four staterooms – both offering a spacious master cabin forward on the main deck. Her 8' (2.44 m) freeboard forward and standard Seakeeper gyros make her more comfortable offshore, while pod drives combined with a standard bow thruster and three joystick locations make for easy docking for the owner/operator.
