Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge:

Convertible w/3 Staterooms, All-Season Bridge

Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge
Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge

The Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge offers spectacular views thanks to the enormous windows on all sides. The side windows open to allow cross ventilation, and the sunroof is standard. We always like two captain’s chairs at the helm, and three 15'' screens are sufficient. A second command station is available just abaft the enclosed bridge, providing the captain a great vantage point for backing down on a fish, and an added joystick control in the cockpit eases docking.

NITRO® ZV21:

Multi-Species Rig w/60.1 MPH WOT

Nitro ZV21
NITRO® ZV21

The NITRO® ZV21 is designed for serious multi-species angling, with relatively high freeboard, an 18-degree deadrise, and an 8'4" (2.54 m) beam that leaves the transom broad enough to mount an auxiliary "kicker" outboard. Gunwale-mounted trolling rails allow easy placement of additional rod holders, and a 101-pound-thrust (45.8 kg) Minn Kota is standard on the bow. The 10" (25.4 cm) jackplate produced strong performance with the optional 300-hp Mercury Verado outboard, with a top speed of 60.1 mph.

Sea-Doo GTR-X 230

At $13,099, the two-seat Sea Doo GTR-X 230 is among the company's lowest-priced performance models, yet she delivered impressive acceleration and speed in our tests, topping out at more than 60 mph. Power is a 230-hp supercharged 1500 CC Rotax H.O. ACE with closed-loop cooling, a plus for running in coastal waters. The racing-style grips telescope and have a 3" (7.62 cm) height adjustment.

USCG Report

Why Does the Coast Guard Consider Some Boating Accidents to Be Non-Reportable?

Industry Update

Some on-water accidents and casualties aren’t reportable as boating accidents.

Not every occurrence on the water falls within the scope of the U.S. Coast Guard’s National Recreational Boating Safety Program, but we were surprised to learn just how many injuries and even fatalities fell into this category in 2016. In several instances, boats were more involved than we expected.

Get a look at some of the data here.

Sometimes it's not what you know, but what you've forgotten. We have the perfect solution for you.

Based on the feedback we’ve been getting about BoatTEST.com's Video Boating Course it’s clearly not only for beginners, but also for veteran boaters as well.
