Boston Whaler 420 Outrage:
Hard-Core Offshore Angler w/Family Features
Rigged with a tower and upper helm, the Boston Whaler 420 Outrage has the offshore fishing capabilities of a larger, more expensive inboard sportfisherman while offering more speed and good fuel efficiency. Powered in our test with quad 300-hp Mercury Verado outboards, she reached a top speed of 48.2 mph, while her 600-gallon fuel capacity gives a range of 330 miles at more than 31 mph with a 10 percent fuel reserve.

Cheoy Lee Global 104:
Cruising for 10 w/Main-Deck Master
The main deck maximizes use of the 22’ (6.71 m) beam of the Cheoy Lee Global 104 with side decks that lead to stairs amidships that go up and over the galley, day head, and master stateroom forward. The result? Maximum use of interior space, with a total of five luxurious guest cabins, and three more for crew. Custom-level interior furnishings and materials are standard and are built to the highest yacht quality. The Cheoy Lee yard is nearly 150 years old, and today is one of the most financially secure yards building large pleasure yachts anywhere in the world, thanks to its commercial shipbuilding business, which has customers worldwide.

Premier 310 Dodici:
Evinrude iDock Joystick & Decks Made of…?
The Premier 310 Dodici topped out at 57 mph in our test, thanks to the triple 300-hp Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboards (first install of its kind on a pontoon boat). But it is her onboard comfort level that caught the attention of our test captain: From the room created by a 12’ (3.67 m) beam to comfortable seating to a never-before-seen decking material to joystick control, the Premier 310 Dodici makes a statement.

DOTMobile:
Remote Monitoring and System Control for Boats
DOTMobile is a modular platform that gives boaters access to data about their boats via a smartphone app or web portal. DOTMobile says the system is intended to deliver peace of mind to boat owners while increasing time on the water. According to the company, the system will allow round-the-clock monitoring, and some systems will provide such functions as tracking the vessel’s location through geofencing, sending intruder alerts (with photos), and even letting the owner remotely immobilize the boat in case of unauthorized use.
Learn more about the system here.
