MJM 35z:
Downeaster w/Twin 300-HP Mercury Verados
The MJM 35z is an unusual marriage of a Downeaster-inspired design with muscular twin 300-hp Mercury Verado outboards, giving a new level of performance as well as very easy low-speed handling thanks to the Mercury Joystick Piloting system. Our test captain reports she handles like a sports car, and has a top speed of 47.0 mph. She's built to take it, too: ISO Certified Category B Offshore.

Ocean Alexander 112 Tri-Level MY:
Power for the Glory: 2x 2,600-HP MTUs
It takes a big engine room to handle twin 2,600-hp MTU 16V 2000 M94s, and the Ocean Alexander 112 Tri-Level MY accommodates. Note the stainless steel rails keeping crew safe in rough conditions, and the easy access to all service points. She accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms including the opulent main-deck master, plus six crew. The Portuguese bridge ahead of the pilothouse will likely be the preferred spot to ride at speed on this spacious yacht.

Mercury Skyhook:
Hold Heading and Position at a Touch
The Mercury Skyhook system, connected to the Mercury Joystick Piloting system on multi-outboard installations, links to the boat’s GPS to hold both position and heading. Skyhook turns on and off at the touch of the stick, with the function showing up on the display screen when engaged. It’s a handy tool for holding position at drawbridges, or for fishing in wind or current.
