The video depicts each stage of the power-producing process. The animated story takes just 3 minutes, and after watching it, everyone should be an expert on the two alternative concepts. In fact, there are important differences between 2 and 4-stroke engines – and every outboard buyer should know what they are.

Twin 1,000-hp Pod Drives, 17.3 Knot Cruise
The Absolute Navetta 73 has Kevlar and carbon fiber used above the deck level to maintain strength while minimizing weight, and she's the first yacht to be powered by the new Volvo Penta IPS1350s at 1000-hp each. The big engines are relatively fuel efficient – range at 1000 rpm and 8.7 knots is more than 900 NM, while at 2000 rpm she cruises at 17.3 knots.

Though all Whalers are equipped for serious fishing, the Boston Whaler 230 Vantage comes about as close to a runabout as this venerable company is ever likely to build. Sleek Express Cruiser w/Skydeck Views
The Galeon 560 Skydeck has the sporty lines of a hardtop express, plus a sun pad and mini helm on the rooftop, a.k.a. “Skydeck.” The whole idea is to give the boat a sleeker profile, while also letting the salon benefit from a sunroof forward. Her low air draft also makes her able to cruise many of Europe’s canals and rivers that would otherwise be inaccessible for vessels with more conventional flying bridges.
