Powered with the all-new Mercury 250 Pro XS V-8, the Triton 21 TrX had a top speed of 73.7 mph. The 4.6-liter engine weighs only 505 lb. (229 kg) and the double-overhead-cam design, with four valves per cylinder, combines with an enlarged intake to deliver plenty of air and fuel when it’s needed. The motor is equipped with the Torque Master gearcase, which is a streamlined semi-surfacing application with a 1.75:1 gear ratio designed for boats that can run over 70 mph.

She's powered with twin 1,622-hp Caterpillar C-32 diesels with V-drives, and carries 3,200 gallons (12,113 L) of fuel, ready to range the world's oceans.
