Neptunus 650 Express:
Offshore-Ready w/
Fine Fit-and-Finish
The Neptunus 650 Express was designed for an owner/operator and to that end she is extremely easy to handle (as our video graphicly shows), and her 6’4” (1.93 m) engine room headroom makes it a pleasure to do daily fluid checks. As sleek and modern as she is outside, inside she is even more modern. Her layout both on the main deck and below is a bit different from what we’re used to seeing, and for that reason, she is a breath of fresh air.
Unlike a number of sleek express cruisers on the market, the Neptunus 650 is more than just a pretty face. Her hull is resin infused, assuring an optimal glass to resin ratio and light weight -- but there’s more. Her hull is one of the few that we know of that contains a complete layer of Kevlar, making her still lighter and very much stronger. The company says she is CE A rated. For all reasons, she is well worth a look.

Yamaha 242X E-Series:
Twin Jet Delivers Dedicated Wake-Surfing Performance
The Yamaha 242X E-Series features “Surf Pointe Technology,” with the jet-drive nozzle positions adjustable to shape the wake and three ballast tanks to add a total of 1,400 lb. (635 kg) of water ballast. Need we say that twin-jet propulsion systems are inherently safer for those in the water than drives with exposed props? The Connext Helm Control System integrates the entertainment features, operational functions, and all systems information in a 12” touchscreen display.

Design and Style Review
Cruisers Yachts 38 Express:
Stylish Express Sleeps 5
The standard hard top of the Cruisers Yachts 38 Express shades the cockpit as well as adding a style element to this agile cruiser. The cockpit includes a wet bar, food-prep surface, and a refrigerator is optional. The transom seat converts easily to a sun lounge. The engine compartment can handle V-8 power to twin 425-hp MerCruisers. She is built to the same high standards that are employed on the much large Cantius series of yachts.

Sea Chaser 23 LX:
47.5 MPH WOT and Fuel-Efficient w/
175-hp Evinrude E-TEC G2 Outboard
A bay boat like the Sea Chaser 23 LX can bring a team of anglers into the skinny water to target redfish and seatrout in the morning, then track down snapper on that reef across the bay. An outboard like the 175-hp Evinrude E-TEC G2 we tested lets her crew make the most of the day in both locations, by minimizing the transition time. Then, there is no scheduled maintenance for 500 hours or 5 years.

REGENCY® 220 LE3 Sport:
Upscale Tri-Toon w/36.2 MPH WOT
Simulated teak decking provides a good area for watersports or fishing aft on the REGENCY® 230 LE3 Sport, while woven matting forward keeps bare feet comfortable in the lounging area. She rides on three corrosion-resistant powder-coated 26" diameter pontoons, and has power options to 250 horses. With the 200-hp Mercury Verado, the test boat topped out at 36.2 mph. She's rated to carry 10 passengers.
