Chaparral 267 SSX:
Premium Sportboat w/50.8 MPH WOT
High freeboard on the Chaparral 267 SSX gives added space in the head compartment, which fits easily into the port console. Note the abundant use of heavy-gauge stainless steel hardware, the padded dash and multi-tone upholstery. She was a strong performer with the single 350-hp MerCruiser in our tests, with a time to plane of just 3.6 seconds thanks to the counter-rotating props of the Bravo 3 drive. Top speed was 50.8 mph.

Sailfish 270CC:
High-Tech Build Ready for Offshore Fishing
The Sailfish 270CC has high freeboard forward thanks to the graceful sweep of her sheer, and the slight tumblehome in the transom also adds to her lines. Carbon-fiber-reinforced deck beams run athwartships to stiffen the deck, while Kevlar reinforces key areas for strength, including the transom attachments to stringers and the hullsides. The variable-deadrise stepped hull has a 24-degree deadrise at the aft keel to soften the ride, with less angle at the chines to provide lift for quicker planing and better stability.
