Regal 19 Surf:

Quick Launch Tabs Replace Ballast Tanks

Regal 19 Surf
Regal 19 Surf

The Regal 19 Surf is a dedicated wakeboat featuring unusual "Quick-Launch" tabs that take the place of ballast tanks to allow building a large wake on demand, without the issues of pumping hundreds of pounds of water aboard. The tab system also results in very quick planing, just 2.9 seconds in our tests, and can be set to automatically adjust to running attitude once the boat is out of the hole. Standard power is the 200-hp Volvo-Penta Forward Drive, which also contributes to rapid planing as well as putting the props well under the hull and away from those in the water.

Satellite TV Comparison

Can My Boat Have Satellite TV?

satellite tv

While the coverage range may differ for domes of different sizes, satellite-TV systems have gotten into smaller and smaller boats.

Choosing a satellite-TV system for a boat is no simple task, but we have done much of the legwork and put together an easy-to-use comparison chart showing the range of systems out there. While many systems are suitable for megayachts and large motoryachts, the most surprising aspect was the fact that smaller boats can get plenty of the same features as the larger units, with domes that fit the boat and don’t look out of proportion.
