The Yellowfin 24 CE, powered with the all-new, naturally aspirated Mercury Verado 300, delivered a top speed of 65.4 mph and a time-to-plane of 4 seconds in our test. The new high-torque outboards weigh 35 pounds (15.9 kg) less than the 300-hp Verado outboards they replaced and have smaller exterior dimensions, though the 4.6-liter displacement is far greater. Plus, the outboard has advanced features for intuitive operation and a design that simplifies maintenance.
