Regal LS6:
Good-Riding w/2.9 Second Hole Shot
The Regal LS6 is a 26’4” (8.03 m) bowrider that delivered good performance powered by a 350-hp Volvo Penta V8 with DuoProp drive provided for our tests. She had a time to plane of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 50.5. She’s a slightly deeper cockpit than many in class, and her 22-degree deadrise should deliver a better ride in choppy water than boats with a flatter deadrise.

Cruisers Yachts are made by several hundred experienced and dedicated craftsmen in Oconto, Wisconsin who have made boat-building their life’s work. Given the vicissitudes of the economy, our guess is that little more than the love of boating and loyalty to Cruisers Yachts at times kept them going. Today, they are busier than they have been in over a decade. Nevertheless, with the exception of resin infusion and new electrical products that have come along to make electrical rigging more durable, they are still building boats the way they always have.
