Captain Steve never ceases to amaze us with his many talents, including, it turns out, the ability to do a bit of wake-surfing when the opportunity presents itself—as it does in this video of Yamaha’s inventive “WakeBooster” kit. The system employs an easy-on device fitted to the underside of the swim platform to funnel water into the wake of Yamaha’s twin-jet 242X E-Series, creating a large curl for surfing on either side, as preferred. So, now propless jetboats can have surfable wake.
