Robalo 246 Cayman SD | Monte Carlo Yachts 76 | Formula 330 Crossover Bowrider
The aft casting platform of the Robalo 246 Cayman SD has a lot to offer an inshore angler. The twin 30-gallon (114 L) insulated livewells each have a light, dedicated aerator/raw water pump, and a divider so that bait can be separated from fish. Add ice and either one can double as a fishbox. A hatch on the port corner opens to a locker sized to stow a 5-gallon (18.9 L) bucket. With the outboard in the down position, a filler piece can be placed to cover a portion of the splash well, giving anglers more footroom. The aft bench-style jump seat, underneath the platform, is wide enough for two passengers and its central location tends to be a drier place to sit compared to side jump seats.
In the three-stateroom model of the Monte Carlo Yachts 76, the elegant master stateroom and its spacious head occupy nearly half of the belowdecks guest area. The same style of textured teak and leather seen from the main deck above is repeated in this deck. Indirect overhead lighting highlights the volume of this accommodation. The dual head is aft, adding separation of the sleeping quarters from the engine room. A four-stateroom layout, with a somewhat smaller master, is also available.
The Formula 330 Crossover Bowrider becomes a viable weekender and multi-season dayboat with the optional radar mast, hardtop, and full canvas. Buttoning her up at the dock also helps to keep upholstery new-looking and keeps loose gear from blowing out of the boat. All Sunbrella canvas is color-coordinated with the paint and graphics scheme and includes easy-mount heavy-duty zippers. A cover for the bow is also available.
The Riviera 52 Enclosed Flybridge is built for extended offshore operation as well as comfortable cruising. Note how the engine room air intakes are located high on the super structure rather than in the hull sides as on many boats in class. The higher they are off the water, the less salt spray will get into the engine room to cause corrosion. The engine room is also kept dry via a commercial-grade ventilation and demister system.
The SUN TRACKER® BASS BUGGY® 18 DLX is small enough (20’/6.1 m LOA and 26’10”/8.18 m on the trailer) and light enough (2,932 lbs./1,330 kg package weight) to be easily trailered behind a mid-size tow vehicle. Note the trailer-mount boarding ladder with handrail, a big plus for older users at the ramp.
