Sailfish 320 CC:
Smooth, Dry and Fast Offshore CC
The Sailfish 320 CC takes advantage of the company’s Variable Deadrise Stepped (VDS) hull to deliver a smooth, dry ride—note how the spray comes off the flat chines well aft, keeping the cockpit dry in most wind and sea conditions. She has higher freeboard than many in class, as well as plenty of flare at the bow, all aimed at making her an exceptionally comfortable and safe offshore fishing machine. She’s also fast—during our test she got on plane in 3.9 seconds and ran better than 54 mph at WOT powered with twin Mercury Verado 350’s—see the test

Evinrude Superior Torque:
More Torque Thanks to Two-Stroke Design
Torque in outboard engines is the measure of twisting force available to turn a propshaft, and more is good when it comes to providing fast hole shots and acceleration across the power range. Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboards feature a two-stroke design that delivers a power stroke with every revolution of the crankshaft, unlike four-stroke outboards that only produce power on every other stroke. The result is a series of outboards with significantly more torque, resulting in faster acceleration, both from a standing start and in the midrange, where most motors are run most of the time. Safety Lanyards and Kill Switches:
Don't Turn On the Ignition Without It
The engine kill switch that connects to a safety lanyard does just one thing: It stops the engine when a boater leaves the helm position involuntarily. It could save the life of everyone on board. See what boatbuilders need to think about when installing the kill switch and safety lanyard

TAHOE® 450 TS:
Powerglide II Hull Designed for Performance
The TAHOE® 450 TS is an updated 18’5” entry-level package bowrider with some interesting hull engineering. The fiberglass Powerglide II hull bottom, with three “Hydrostep” lifting strakes per side, is designed to make the boat both more comfortable in light chop, provide stability and be efficient. Broad reversed chines and the 16-degree deadrise at the transom are aimed at getting her on plane easily with the standard 115-hp Mercury FourStroke. The included trailer, seen here, is coated in Galvashield finish for protection from corrosion and chipping.

Beneteau Antares 23:
Mini Outboard Cabin Cruiser
Beneteau is introducing a range of outboard-powered sport cruisers to the North American boating market, the Antares series. The Beneteau Antares 23 combines European styling touches, a versatile interior arrangement, with the performance of outboard power. She has a 9’1”(2.76 m) beam, wider than most in class. Note the optional cockpit Bimini, a useful addition for enjoying sunny days in warm climates. The optional bow thruster and windlass are rare in boats of this size. The bow thruster is a feature that will be appreciated when docking with the single outboard where wind and current are factors. The windlass provides ease of anchoring out in your favorite getaway location.
