Chaparral 21 H2O OB Sport:
Stylish Bowrider w/Outboard Power
There is a growing trend to outboard power in sportboats and the Chaparral 21 H2O OB Sport capitalizes on that. The outboard engine is lighter than the typical sterndrive and most have a faster wind-up, which gives the boat potentially better performance. The outboard design also opens up gear space because the engine box becomes a huge storage area. And because there are fewer fuel-line connections inside the boat and no enclosed engine box to trap fumes, outboard designs are inherently safer. See the package we tested here: with a single 150-hp Yamaha four-stroke, she got on plane in just 3.0 seconds, had a top speed of 48.4 mph, and got better than 4 mpg at a cruise of 4000 rpm and 29.9 mph.

Grady-White Freedom 235:
Multi-Function Dual Console w/ 20” Draft
The Grady-White Freedom 235 is ready for fishing, while her dual console design welcomes the family aboard as well. She has a 20” (0.5 m) draft with the engine trimmed up, allowing a safe approach to the beach as well as fishing on the edge of the flats. Her distinctive Carolina bow flare and SeaV2© hull give her the softest and driest ride than any other boat in her category. An optional spring-loaded ski pylon is on the transom, and she planes in 3.8 seconds with the Yamaha F300 outboard, adding tow-sports to her multi-function capabilities.

Regency Yachts P65:
Pilothouse Motoryacht w/Trawler Livability
The Regency Yachts P65 is a pilothouse motoryacht with the livability, range and user-friendliness of a well-designed trawler. Her 18’3” (5.56 m) beam, up to one foot (0.3 m) wider than some in class, provides added living space below as well as improving beam stability in open water. Her twin 900-hp Volvo Penta diesels with ZF shaft drives provide a range of more than 730 NM at 10.3 knots. She has four control stations, one in the wheelhouse, one on the flying bridge, and two on the aft wing stations, making for easy handling at the docks for the cruising couple. She has both diesel and electric heating systems, chilled-water cooling, two large generators, satellite TV and a watermaker, all standard, along with one of the more complete standard electronics packages in the industry.

Shurhold NEW 217 Towel:
Synthetic Chamois for Spotless Marine Finishes
Water spots on gelcoat, windshields, or hardware are an aggravation to many boat owners, especially around salt or brackish water. The new Shurhold 217 Water Sprite Towel, an absorbent PVA cloth, comes in an extra-large size of 23.25" x 31" (59 cm x 78 cm) – about five square feet. It has the look and feel of chamois as well as the legendary absorbency, but is less expensive and also less prone to develop mold and mildew during storage aboard, according to Shurhold. It’s also great for wiping up spills around the galley. It’s machine-washable and should last for years.
