BoatTEST is a co-sponsor of the new Harbor Point Boat Show that will be held in Stamford Harbor this May 3 and 4.

All BoatTEST Members are eligible to receive a FREE SPECIAL VIP INVITATION for themselves and their family. There will be no general admission – it is an invitation-only boat show, the only one held in the U.S.

Sights and Sounds at the Show

There will be over 15 brands and because the show is so exclusive, those attending will not have to fight throngs of people. Time can be taken to get to know a boat, rather than getting a hurried walk-through with 25 other people. Exotic cars will also be on display. And because the show hours are 12 noon to 10 pm, getting to and from on I-95 will miss both morning and evening rush hour traffic.

A concert will be held each evening at 7:30 in a waterside, open-air stadium.

You Are Invited to VIP Lounges

The exclusive nature of the show will be matched with VIP lounges and cocktail parties at various venues -- and there are eight nearby restaurants situated around the boat show.

Boat-Show-1
A view of the inner harbors – east and west branch – of Stamford Harbor. The Harbor Point Boat Show will be held on both sides of the west branch with continuous ferries taking guests back and forth.

A Euro-Style Venue

The Harbor Point Boat Show has been, to some degree, patterned after the Monaco Boat Show, which takes place in that country’s inner harbor. And, just as in Monaco, apartment buildings surround both of the venues with terraces overlooking the boats. With a boardwalk that is nearly a mile long on both sides of the west branch of Stamford Harbor, show-goers will be able to enjoy the views and the fine restaurants, as well as to visit the exotic cars on display. At night, the glittering lights surrounding the show will create its own special ambiance.

Dates: Friday, May 3 & Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Times: Opens at 12 noon; closes at 10 pm both days.

Address: 1 Harbor Point Rd., Stamford, CT 06902

Admission Requirement: An Official Invitation

Boat-Show-2
Outdoor cafés along the boardwalk have a good view of the show and they provide shade and cool beverages. The venue is much like what is seen in the south of France along the docks.

Invitation Only

The invitation-only aspect of the show is designed to minimize traffic and create a much more pleasant experience for both show-goers and the dealers working at the show.

Likewise, with far fewer people at the show, those who are seriously interested will have time to carefully inspect the boats by themselves, as well as to have time to discuss details with the salesperson on hand. In essence, the experience should be like that of a VIP showing of a boat that one might have in a showroom, or at a special VIP in-water cocktail party.

BoatTEST is one of the primary Sponsors of the show.

After BoatTEST Research, Go to the Show!

BoatTEST Members understand that by researching on BoatTEST, seeing the videos, reading the in-depth captain’s reports and studying the test numbers, they can narrow down the possibilities to just a boat or two. Then, by seeing the boats on the short list in person, it is usually easy to tell which one is the best fit.

Transportation to the Show

By being just five blocks south of I-95, and because the show starts at 12 noon and closes at 10 pm, traffic on I-95 should not be a problem. Because the show is invitation-only, streets around the show should not be congested. Free parking and valet parking are available.

Exits. Going toward Boston, take Exit #7, Greenwich Ave. Going toward New York City, take Exit #8, Atlantic St. In both cases, go south toward the water.

Commuter train service runs twice an hour during off peak hours and it takes about one hour to arrive in Stamford from New York City.

Amtrak service, including Acela, stops every hour or two during the day each way.

Commercial airline hubs are Westchester Airport, 30 minutes away, La Guardia, 1:15 away and JFK, 1:30 from Stamford.

General Aviation. Westchester Airport is one of the largest for general aviation in the country and has all of the expected amenities.
