Outer Reef 700:
Oceanic-Range Customizable Cruiser
The Outer Reef 700 is a well-equipped and beautifully-finished long range cruiser. She’s set up so that operation by an experienced yachting couple will be easy – with bow and stern thrusters to ensure easy docking. Her 2,400-gallon (9,085 L) fuel capacity and twin 750-hp John Deere diesels make her a true long-ranger. At 10.5 knots, her range exceeds 1130 NM. If there’s ever the need to squeeze maximum range out of her, dropping to 7.7 knots gives a range over 2,800 NM. The folks at Outer Reef will work with any client to make sure the model selected will be built to suit.

Riviera 395 SUV:
Port Helm Station for Two
The Riviera 395 SUV is an Australian-built yacht and she has a double-wide helm seat for the operator and a friend. Southpaws will like the control binnacle to port and we got used to it surprisingly quickly. Visibility forward and to the side is excellent. Air-conditioning vents cool the helm area and there’s a sliding window adjacent. Another vent on the forward dash keeps fog off the windshield which is equipped with a pair of large pantograph wipers with freshwater washers. Dark upholstery on the padded dash helps keep down glare.

Everglades 435CC:
4 x 425 Yamahas, 60.0 MPH WOT
The Everglades 435CC is a premium offshore fisherman loaded with every option the serious bluewater angler is likely to want, including the standard two-seat tower control station giving the skipper a gull's-eye view of the sea to locate bait or billfish as well as to keep an eye on lures in the wake. She’s powered with quad Yamaha 425-hp V8s, which allow her to head offshore (or for a distant island chain) at up to 60 mph. The 610-gallon (2,309 L) fuel capacity gave a range of nearly 400 SM at 24.7 mph. She can handle long weekends in the islands with a galley, stand-up head and shower, and a queen berth tucked into the air-conditioned console cabin.
