Riviera Belize 66 Sedan:
Innovation Maximizes Living Space
An unusual engineering feature on the Riviera Belize 66 Sedan is the offset of the twin 1000-hp Volvo Penta IPS1350s that is made possible by the use of jackshafts. This gives more space to the master bath which has stylish his and her wash basins and a large shower stall. A 29 kW Cummins Onan generator is placed between the engines and flanked by battery boxes. The vessel has three en suite staterooms. There are four entry points to the engine room, a plus for the owner/operator, with the easiest access via a walk-in door from the master head. This yacht has remarkably fine interior detailing and amenities.

Prestige 460 Fly:
Room, Function & Utility
The salon, dining area, and galley of the Prestige 460 Fly seem spacious for a 46-footer (14.02 m) thanks to the large windows, high overheads finished in light tones, and abundant lighting. The aft galley keeps the chef in the action either forward in the salon or in the aft deck. An extension of the flying bridge deck completely covers this area, protecting it from sun and drizzle. There’s also an open-air grill and sink on the transom as well as a second on the flying bridge.

Grady-White Fisherman 216:
Easy Rider with Easy Boarding
Grady-White’s Fisherman 216 has a new, dual-purpose jump seat design for comfortable seating and easy boat entrance and egress. As can be seen in the images above, the seat bottom flips over to become a boarding platform with nonskid strips and the patent-pending backrest pivots out of the way – both port and starboard – when wanted. This design improves access to the four-step boarding ladder which reaches over 22” (55 cm) below the surface. Even though this boat was designed for anglers, these family-friendly features make her adaptable for all sorts of watersport activities as well as being more easily boarded at the dock.

Evinrude Intelligent Piloting System:
Multi-Engine Control for Only $5,999
Evinrude’s Intelligent Piloting System is a full suite of all-digital controls that make piloting any boat with Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboards effortless and intuitive – and costs only $5,999. This is a huge saving over what the 4-stroke engine makers charge. The iDock joystick system for multiple outboard installations makes docking a non-issue in any boat. The iSteer system takes advantage of power-steering built into the mounting unit to allow full operator control of steering resistance and even the number of lock-to-lock turns. The iControl digital throttle gives instant engine control and also allows exact RPM adjustment in 50 rpm increments, very useful for trolling, while digital shifting means no clunking during gear changes. The iLink system allows using remote devices to keep tabs on the engines and the iTrim provides automatic trim, a plus when inexpert drivers take a turn at the wheel.

TAHOE 1950:
Fast OB Powered Deck w/Seats for 10
Note how high the TAHOE 1950 rides when trimmed up at full throttle. With minimal wetted-surface friction, this lets her perform almost like a bass boat, even though she’s a fully fitted-out deckboat that can seat up to 10. Powered with a 150-hp Mercury FourStroke, she got on plane in 3.5 seconds and had a top speed of 49.6 mph. Fuel economy is also very good — 5.9 mpg at 27.1 mph, which allows the family to play all day on the 40-gallon (151 L) fuel tank. Though we tested her in flat water, the 20-degree deadrise at the transom should deliver a good ride for a boat of this size and the broad deckboat-style bow will keep her stable at rest.
