The Azimut Atlantis 51's engineering and design team makes smart use of advanced materials to deliver a handsome yacht that makes efficient use of space. The expandable hi-lo table seen here is synthetic marble, lighter and much more durable than the real thing. The seat coverings are a textured material that stays cool and does not stick to skin. The stools are pull-outs that form seating on the starboard side when they’re not needed for dining. A 32" (81 cm) flat screen powers up from the bulwark behind. In the master, a TV is tucked behind a swing-out mirror and a vanity folds out from the bulkhead - smart designing throughout and it all has Italian styling.

Harbor Point Boat Show


Could Start a New Trend

The Harbor Point in-water boat show was invitation-only and could well be the start of something new.

The Harbor Point Boat Show was held two weeks ago in Stamford, CT. It was much more like boat shows we visit in southern Europe - only on a smaller scale - than most shows in the U.S. Boat shows in southern Europe are typically held in marinas surrounded by apartments and office buildings with dockside restaurants, marine supply stores, and boat dealerships. Exhibitor booths have espresso machines and well-dressed attendants bringing demitasse cups to showgoers. In the afternoon, bars open for boating clients and prospects in private areas behind the exhibits. Displays are lavish and the serious NPAT buyers enjoy mixing with their peers in a relaxed atmosphere while searching for their next boat. This was America’s first invitational boat show and the exhibitors we spoke with seemed to like the smaller crowd. One boat builder told us he’d rather have three serious prospects out of 25 than three out of 5,000. We made a video of the show, and it may point to the future of boat shows in the U.S.

Sailfish 360 CC

The Sailfish 360 CC maximizes freeboard forward with an upswept sheer and a deep, sharp forward entry. Combined with a lot of flair, the design should keep anglers dry and comfortable even on upwind runs. The high windshield and standard hardtop add even more protection, creating a cozy cocoon. She is fully-loaded for offshore fishing with a 42-gallon (159 L) baitwell located in the port quarter of the transom. A second, 32-gallon (121 L) baitwell is built in the base of the mezzanine seating – yes, she has her own version of that battlewagon amenity. Flip down the transom seating, add the movable table, and she becomes a day excursion boat.

Ready for a Classy Cruise

Riviera Belize 54 Daybridge

The aft deck area of the Riviera Belize 54 Daybridge is set up for enjoyable cruising with a transom grill and sink accessed from the swim platform, just steps from the aft dinette. Two large hinges aft of the grill are clues that point to an electric hatch just below. Inside, there is a tender garage for a 9.5' (3 m) inflatable RIB with an attached outboard. There's a nylon runner system with an electric winch to help make launching more smoothly. The center section of the swim platform hydraulically lowers to facilitate the launch.

The SUN TRACKER SPORTFISH 22 XP3 is a roomy pontoon with multi-density foam seating in the forward sections for up to 11 to party and relax. She includes a dedicated fishing venue aft. The stern area includes two swiveling fishing seats, an aerated livewell with a lift-out bait bucket, rod holders, locking rod box, and tool holders. The bow is not without angling potential. It is pre-wired for a trolling motor, and one of the swivel seats can be placed forward to provide a convenient location to operate the troller.
