Boating Business

August Boat Sales Up 43% YOY

boat-sales-august.png

Boat sales continued to set records in August 2020, a time when most dealers usually experience a slowdown.

Sales of new recreational boats longer than 15’ (4.57 m) continued to set a blistering pace for the quarter ending August 2020. According to Info-Link’s InSight Report, excluding personal watercraft, just under 100,000 new traditional powerboats were sold. This is an increase of 43% compared to August 2019. Info-Link said that demand has “significantly outstripped supply and manufacturers are working hard to fill the void.” Growth has been distributed across most segments, so the industry sees the surge as a benefit.

Steve will give you some pointers, and we also explain the remarkable new Siren Marine-CZone lash-up that permits remote monitoring of virtually every electrical system on your boat... plus lots more.
